1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NinerLog at app.ninerlog.com (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

NinerLog is a free, open-source digital pilot logbook. The Service allows you to log flights, track licenses and currency, manage aircraft, and export your data.

3. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a password to register. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

4. Free of Charge

The Service is provided free of charge. There are no premium tiers, no feature gates, and no subscriptions. Donations are voluntary and do not confer any additional features or privileges.

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into NinerLog. You may export your data at any time in CSV, PDF, or JSON format. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ data
  • Intentionally disrupt or overload the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Service beyond your own data

7. Disclaimer

NinerLog is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, NinerLog is not a certified aviation tool. Always verify currency and regulatory compliance independently. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from reliance on NinerLog data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NinerLog and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance. Since NinerLog is open source, you can always self-host your own instance.

10. Open Source

The NinerLog software is licensed under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the code according to the license terms.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you may export your data beforehand.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
